What Supplements I Actually Take

Updated: Jul 8

ree

Simple, effective, and part of my every day.

I get asked all the time about wellness — what I eat, how I move, and what supplements I take. The truth? I keep it tight and clean. I’m not someone who throws everything in the cabinet and hopes for the best. I want to feel good, move well, and stay clear — mentally and physically. My supplement routine reflects that: focused, functional, and easy to stay consistent with.

Here’s what’s in my daily lineup right now:

1. Magnesium Glycinate

When I take it: At night, always. Why: It’s my go-to for winding down. It helps with sleep, muscle recovery, and stress — and let’s be honest, we all need support in those areas. I feel noticeably calmer when I take it consistently.

2. Trace Minerals Drops

When I take it: First thing in the morning, in water with lemon. Why: They give me energy and help keep hydration levels in check — especially on days when I’m sweating more or doing infrared sauna. I notice a difference in my skin and energy when I stay on top of this.

3. Omega-3 (Fish Oil or Algae-Based)

When I take it: With lunch. Why: I’m big on brain health, and omegas support cognition, focus, and inflammation. Bonus: It’s great for skin too.

4. Vitamin D3 + K2

When I take it: Mid-morning, with a little healthy fat. Why: Even though I spend a lot of time outdoors, most of us are still low in D. I like pairing it with K2 for better absorption and bone support. It’s a non-negotiable for me, especially in the winter.

5. Probiotic (or sometimes just Kefir)

When I take it: In the morning or post-lunch.Why: Gut health is everything. I rotate my probiotic strains and sometimes go natural with fermented foods instead. If my gut’s off, everything’s off — so I stay consistent.

6. Collagen Powder (Marine or Bovine)

When I take it: In my matcha, coffee, or smoothie. Why: I swear by it for skin elasticity, hair growth, and joint support. It’s not a miracle worker, but over time, I notice stronger nails and less joint stiffness. Clean source only.

7. Turmeric + Black Pepper Capsules

When I take it: On workout days, post-sweat.Why: For inflammation, recovery, and general anti-aging benefits. It’s nature’s Advil — and it works, especially if you train consistently or sit a lot.

Jennifer’s Philosophy

I’m not chasing trends or swallowing 15 pills a day. I take what works. I listen to my body. And I give things time to work — consistency beats chaos when it comes to wellness.

If something stops working for me, I stop taking it. If I forget a day, I don’t panic. Supplements should support your life, not control it.

This is what’s working for me — right now. It’s subject to change, because I’m always learning, refining, and trying new things based on how I feel.

XO,Jennifer
